Thanks again for having me on this week's community conversation! I've attached a copy of my presentation slides.

I loved reading through your comment's in the chat of your communities that you belong to. For those who missed the live call, I'd love to hear more about the communities that are important to YOU. If there's a community your organization is trying to engage with but struggling to connect with, let us know in the comments and we can do some community brainstorming to help.

@Charlotte Otero (she/her)  - Your presentation was amazing! Thank you for sharing about the importance of community to you and how it has helped in your career and personal life.

In thinking about my response in the chat, I feel like I provided groups I identify as, which can lend themselves to the communities I'm a part of. That said, I love my neighborhood that I've described as Sesame Street. It's diverse and supportive.  During the pandemic, one of the neighbors started a playgroup in front of her place where there's a huge green lawn for the kids to play while she sits on her patio.  We have outdoor potlucks with all different foods representing our backgrounds. Many of us with dogs walk in groups together.  One of the newest neighbors was interested in adopting a dog, so we went to the shelter! I think he's struggling with the adjustment but I'm hoping with the support of our community, he'll be able to make it work! Crossing fingers!

    What a great presentation, @Charlotte Otero (she/her)

Maybe Maddie's Fund could consider  offering "Building an Online Community" as an intern opportunity?

    Thank you, thank you!!
